The Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Business Administration & Management is a four-year degree program designed for students seeking to acquire a high level of knowledge from broad-based business administration and management concepts. A guide to succeeding within an ever-evolving business environment and creating solutions to contemporary business problems. Students will acquire the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to integrate management, marketing, accounting, and finance concepts to develop short, medium, and long-term organizational performance strategies for sustainable enterprise development. 

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Our Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Business Administration & Management, requires students to complete a hundred and twenty (120) credit hours. Which consists of eight (8) foundational Courses, made-up of Communicative skills of six (6) credit hours, General Education nine (9) credit hours and Basic computer studies (9) credit hours summing up to twenty-four (24) credit hours requirement, and in addition to (32) departmental courses holding a ninety-six (96) credit hours as a requirement to graduate with honors in BSc. Degree in Business Administration and Management.

ADMISSION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY:

  1. The students holding General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) ‘O’ Level, must have five (5) credit passes including English and Mathematics.

  2. If the students hold West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), then the candidates must have credit passes in six (6) subjects and three of these six subjects must be core subjects including English language and Mathematics.

COURSE CREDITS TRANSFER POLICY:

Central University does accept credit transfers from accredited and recognized colleges or Universities on a case-by-case basis. However, credit transfer from such colleges and universities cannot exceed sixty (60) credit hours, relying on courses that are different from departmental courses yet relevant to the field of study, which may be considered for transfer. Therefore, students with credit transfer requests will be required to contact the office of the Registrar to establish the procedure in fulfilling such requirements at the departmental or faculty level.
